Train up a child in the way he should go;
even when he is old he will not depart from it.
Proverbs 22:6
New City’s ministry to children focuses on teaching foundational truths about God as revealed in Scripture, and encouraging active participation in the worship of God.
Worship – School-aged children are welcome and expected to join the congregation in worship. Our congregation deeply values the presence of children, and is delighted to serve growing families by extending grace and modeling Christian worship for your children.
Sunday School – On Sundays, before our worship service, we offer classes in three groups: K-1st Grade, 2nd-3rd Grade, and 4th-5th Grade. Through the use of catechisms and other biblically grounded resources, children are guided to grow in their understanding of God’s Word, deepen their knowledge of basic Christian doctrine, and begin discerning their faith.
Collide – Children in 4th-5th grade gather twice a month on Sunday nights from 6:00 to 7:45 pm for a time of discipleship and fellowship. These evenings include studying God’s Word, prayer, singing, and engaging in fun games, fostering both spiritual growth and meaningful connections.

All classes and activities involving minors are taught and/or supervised by teens or adults who have completed our Child Protection Policy Standards.
